Job Summary

Chemical Plant Foreman at is a leadership role focused on ensuring safety and performance excellence within a chemical plant environment. This position involves motivating and developing employees, conducting safety training, and ensuring compliance with best practices. The foreman plays a crucial role in fostering a culture of safety and efficiency while overseeing the daily operations of the plant.

Essential Job Functions

  • Ensures employees have the knowledge, training, tools, and equipment to perform their job accurately, efficiently, promptly, and safely.
  • Directly participates in safety meetings and overall training initiatives to model appropriate behavior for field employees.
  • Performs safety observations in the field to establish high visibility with employees and the customer.
  • Ensures that training is being conducted in alignment with Loadstar and the customer's best practices.
  • Ensures positive recognition is occurring for good performance and provides one-on-one coaching to employees.
  • Reviews area procedures for accuracy, redlines, and properly communicates to Loadstar and customer leadership to make the proper changes.
  • Completes any other duties that may be assigned to complete the job.
Requirements
  • Experience in a lead position (e.g. leadman, team leader, foreman, supervisor, etc.).
  • Industrial experience is a plus but not required.
  • May require a valid Driver's License and/or a valid TWIC card, depending on work location.
  • 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
  • Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check.
  • Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus.
