Our company is seeking General Laborers / Field Technicians to join our crew in our Industrial Services division at our Geismar, LA location. The ideal candidate for this position is reliable and dedicated, a team player who works well with others. Technicians execute any needed fieldwork encompassed in environmental services, industrial cleaning and vacuuming, tank cleaning, waste packaging and disposal, site demolition, emergency spill response and site cleanup projects while under direct or indirect supervision. The Laborer will conduct daily tasks in accordance with established procedures, policies, and practices.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out heavy duty tasks requiring medium to maximum physical exertion. Frequent standing or walking, lifting, and carrying materials or objects weighing 50 pounds, climbing up and down ladders or scaffolds carrying tools and equipment, working in confined space entry, stooped, crouched, or kneeling positions as required.
• Set up and break down equipment, including hoses and tools, following inspections and safety procedures.

• Must have reliable transportation and be ready for work at designated start times.
• Majority of work will be conducted in an outside environment in a Petro-chemical refinery where you could be exposed to all weather conditions. You may be required to wear PPE or respirator as needed.
• Must follow all health and safety regulations.

Experience:

• Previous experience in Hydro-blasting or industrial environments preferred.
• experience in an industrial setting preferred but not required
• Must have valid driver's license
• TWIC card
• Must be able to pass a physical, drug screening and background

We provide safety training along with skills-based training.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Field Tech 1: 0-1 yr experience, pay range $18-$19 per hour
