The purpose of this position is to safely load and unloading all crossing traffic as well as correctly maintaining toll for the ferry operation. This position is located on the Plaquemine Ferry, with the Department of Transportation and Development. The incumbent must be self-motivated and be able to perform duties many times with or without minimal supervision and also be able to interpret unforeseen conditions as they may arise. Minimum Qualifications No experience or training is required. NOTE:Possession of a current Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) may be required at the time of appointment.
