Now Hiring: Project Director – Engineering Services (EPC Consulting)

Location: Baton Rouge, LA (relocation assistance can be provided)

Shift/Schedule: 100% onsite, 4/10 and off on Fridays

*EPC consulting experience is required*

Are you a strategic project leader who thrives on bringing order to complexity and building high-performance teams? We're looking for an experienced Project Director to lead multi-disciplinary engineering teams and oversee the full lifecycle of industrial projects—from kickoff to closeout—with excellence, efficiency, and client satisfaction at the forefront.

As a Project Director, you'll apply your EPC consulting experience & be the driving force behind project execution, leading engineers and designers while managing cost, quality, and timelines with precision. You'll serve as the main point of contact for both internal teams and clients, ensuring everyone stays aligned, informed, and motivated.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading the charge on technical delivery, budgeting, and scheduling across multiple project sites
• Managing commercial contracts and ensuring financial performance through proactive reporting and change management
• Partnering with internal leaders to estimate resources, forecast workloads, and maintain project momentum
• Building trusted client relationships through transparent communication and problem-solving
• Guiding cross-functional teams in executing engineering designs, vendor reviews, construction support, and project documentation
• Fostering a culture of continuous improvement, mentorship, and collaboration
• Driving business development through exceptional service and long-term client engagement

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering (required)
• Certifications: PE and/or PMP strongly
• Experience: 15+ years in industrial project engineering and construction management. Ideal candidate will have in-office EPC Consulting experience versus on-site at clients.
• Deep understanding of engineering disciplines, project controls, and execution standards
• Proven leadership in complex project environments with the ability to motivate and mentor diverse teams
• Financial acumen and contract management experience
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Confidence navigating client relations, resource planning, and change management
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office and modern project management tools
