The overall function of this position is managing a District Construction Unit, such as directing and supervising highway and bridge construction, survey activities, contract administration, quality assurance, material management and associated functions of construction unit including supervising employees in the Project Engineer's Office, engaged in construction work with DOTD. This position is located in District 61, Unit 266, East Baton Rouge Parish of the Department of Transportation and Development and reports directly to the Engineer 7/ District Area Engineer.
