Position Summary:
The Senior Commercial Credit Analyst serves a vital role in the commercial lending process. Provide a full analysis on commercial loans, and act in an advisory capacity to management, loan decision makers and commercial lending officers. Will also offer guidance and training to junior staff members.
This position is exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
This position may be filled at a lower or higher level depending on the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in related business field
- 8 years of bank risk management experience with at least 5 years in the credit analysis function
- Advanced understanding of commercial loans structure and best practices as well as overall bank organizational structure and processes
- Thorough understanding of financial statements: balance sheets, income statements, statement of cash flows, and personal and business tax returns
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams
