AMMON Staffing is hiring Warehouse Associates to support daily operations at a well-established logistics company with multiple warehouse facilities across Baton Rouge. This company plays a critical role in serving the petrochemical industry and other major commercial clients, making it a great opportunity to join a team that moves high-demand products with precision and care.

This is a full-time, physically active position requiring attention to detail, a team-first attitude, and a strong work ethic.

Location: Baton Rouge, LA
Pay: $12.00/hour to start, increases to $14.00/hour after forklift certification
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (hours may vary)

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload shipments from 18-wheelers using forklifts (once certified)
• Organize and store incoming materials in designated warehouse areas
• Support inventory tracking, labeling, and cycle counts
• Perform general warehouse tasks including picking, packing, and prepping shipments
• Lift and move items weighing 50 lbs or more on a regular basis
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and company protocols

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license
• Minimum 6 months of warehouse and forklift experience (forklift certification available on site)
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
• Strong teamwork skills and willingness to take direction

Dress Code:

• Steel-toe boots required
• Full-length pants (no holes, graphics, or writing)
• Shirts with sleeves (no tank tops or graphic designs)
