The in-school ACT instructor (ISACT) is an uncommonly hardworking, resourceful educator who's passionate about expanding college access for BRYC's Junior Fellows (11th-graders) through improved ACT scores. Unlike BRYC's flagship after-school programs at our Downtown and Airline campuses, in-school programs take place at select high schools across the Greater Baton Rouge Area. ISACTs deliver programming directly to juniors at their schools during the school day. Ideal candidates have strong facilitation skills and can cultivate a positive 11th-grade class culture and activities. Above all, the ISACT understands that students from low-socioeconomic backgrounds face disproportionate barriers in college admissions, and is relentless in breaking these barriers so BRYC Fellows can maximize the full benefits of postsecondary degrees.
