If that's you, we would love to have you join us!Job DescriptionThe Senior Process Engineer will provide coaching and support in the definition and development of Safety Instrumented Systems and other Instrumented Protection Layers for new and existing facilities. This role will support the development of corporate and business guidelines in the implementation of SIS and IPL strategies. The engineer will perform audits and reviews, and approve process automation software, hardware, and plant operating discipline required for SIS implementations and modifications to ensure the viability of the SIS.Your Responsibilities:Optimize parameters and measurable outcomes while minimizing risks of hazards.Demonstrate proficient knowledge of P&IDs and instrumentation/control equipment in an industrial environment.Develop and instruct on control methods, including analog and discrete components, to develop sustainable control algorithms.Implement control methodology in DCS, PLC or HMI platforms, understanding various programming languages.Optimize design and implement knowledge of control system architecture including hardware, software, instrumentation, and networking equipment.Understand analog advanced control and batch control, and lead implementation efforts.Support loop checking, startup, troubleshooting, and commissioning in an industrial environment.Understand control philosophy and write functional requirement specifications, including control loops, interlocks, and alarms.Possess knowledge of 120 VAC control circuits, motor schematics, and electrical one-line diagrams.Use Cause and Effect Charts and Functional Specifications to develop software for process automation control systems.The Essentials - You Will Have:Bachelor's degree.Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available).Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.The Preferred - You Might Also Have:5+ years of related experience.Experience with ABB, Honeywell, Emerson, and/or Rockwell platforms.Experience in the petrochemical industry.What We Offer:Health Insurance including Medical, Dental, and Vision.401k.Paid Time off.Parental and Caregiver Leave.Flexible Work Schedule.For more information on our benefits, visit www.raquickfind.com.At Rockwell Automation, we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace.
