Salary: $120,000-$175,000 + 15% Bonus
Location: St. James, Louisiana
Schedule: 9/80 workweek
Facility: Brand-new equipment and recently revamped site

Position Overview

Join a global leader in methanol production at a state-of-the-art facility in St. James, LA. We are seeking a high-impact Electrical Engineer to provide hands-on support for plant electrical systems and contribute to instrumentation projects. Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the go-to expert for electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and new equipment specifications

• Develop and optimize electrical Preventive Maintenance (PM) plans and schedules

• Ensure electrical system reliability and cost-effective performance

• Conduct Root Cause Failure Analyses (RCFA) to minimize downtime

• Lead and manage electrical capital projects from concept through execution

• Support instrumentation efforts, including SPI (SmartPlant Instrumentation) database maintenance and calculation assistance

• Champion technology upgrades and best practices for reliability improvement
  

Ideal Candidate

• Strong background in electrical systems in a plant or manufacturing setting

• Comfortable with both hands-on troubleshooting and strategic project planning

• Familiarity with instrumentation and SPI/Intools is a plus

• Eager to innovate, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement
