Purpose

You will provide structural engineering services, including technical support and supervision within the structural engineering team.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver structural engineering services meeting quality, statutory, and regulatory standards on time and within budget.
  • Manage and supervise project requirements as needed.
  • Perform engineering tasks such as participating in meetings, preparing reports, and ensuring project scope and changes are managed properly.
  • Support procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
  • Lead projects as the structural engineering lead if required.
  • Supervise team members, assign tasks, and ensure timely, compliant deliverables.
  • Resolve discrepancies proactively and stay updated on technical innovations.
  • Support junior team members and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Identify issues, develop solutions, and seek assistance when necessary.
Qualifications
Technical Skills
  • Strong engineering skills with a focus on quality and timeliness.
  • Knowledge of structural engineering fundamentals and standards.
  • Proficiency in software like STAAD, Foundation3D, MS Office, Navisworks, and Point Cloud Manager.
  • Experience in the industry, especially in downstream manufacturing and multidisciplinary projects.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain TWIC card and pass background checks.
Education and Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Louisiana PE license is required; NCEES record preferred.
