Position Highlights

• Title: Project Engineer

• Full Time Direct Hire

Background Requirements

• 5 years of experience in chemical manufacturing process environment within a project management role

• Ability to read P&ID's and instrument loops sheets.

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering is required. Chemical or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.

• Project Management Certification preferred.

• Experience in all project phases (Definition, Design, Procurement, Construction, and Start-up/Commissioning)

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Specialty Materials' CAPEX program ($5MMUSD/yr)

• Coordinate all design engineering, procurement, and construction activities

• Drive project execution and lead manufacturing representatives

• Coordinate services with other supporting departments and government authorities

• Participates in 24 hour on-call rotation

What is Being Offered

• Challenge: The job will involve a wide range of projects that include expansions, modifications, and upgrades to the company's Specialty Materials' production plant and associated plant and site infrastructure and facilities.

• Location: Plaquemine, LA (about 30 mins south of Baton Rouge)
