We are looking for a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Associate to join our growing team. The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to the receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of products within our warehouse facility. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
Responsibilities:
Receive incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders and inspecting for damages or discrepancies.
Accurately store products in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper rotation and organization.
Pick customer orders accurately and efficiently using various picking methods (e.g., scan guns, pick lists).
Pack products securely for shipment, selecting appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage during transit.
Prepare shipping labels and documentation as required.
Load and unload trucks using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or by hand, adhering to safety protocols.
Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with inventory reconciliation.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, including but not limited to forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (training and certification may be provided).
Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or inventory discrepancies to the appropriate supervisor.
Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager or Supervisor.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly and stand for extended periods.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and scanning equipment is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including varying temperatures (e.g., refrigerated or freezer sections, if applicable).
Forklift certification a plus (or willingness to obtain).
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
