Position Summary

Provides supervision and development opportunities for management and hourly associates in the facility by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, evaluating performance, providing recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace. Upholds the company's open door policy by meeting with associates, listening to concerns, researching issues, reviewing policies, and providing resolutions. Ensures compliance with policies and procedures, analyzes reports, implements safety and asset protection controls, maintains quality standards, and oversees safety and operational reviews. Initiates community outreach programs, builds relationships with community members, and represents the company externally. Drives financial performance by achieving sales and profit goals, controlling expenses, and overseeing budgeting and economic trend analysis. Models and enforces customer service standards, directs facility operations, and communicates with management and associates. Drives sales through merchandise presentation, pricing, inventory management, and community engagement. Builds high-performing teams, embraces diversity, and fosters a culture of belonging. Acts with integrity, maintains high ethical standards, and supports Walmart's values. Focuses on customer service, data-driven decision-making, continuous improvement, and technological adoption. Offers competitive pay, benefits, and educational programs, including Live Better U. The salary range is $85,000-$105,000, with additional bonuses and potential location-based pay adjustments.

Minimum Qualifications

2 years of general management experience including financial accountability. 2 years of supervising 20 or more associates, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing. For firearm-selling facilities, successful completion of a firearms-specific criminal background check and authorized training is required. For ammunition-only facilities, a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required. All associates must complete required trainings and assessments, such as Academy and Open Door trainings.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with managing a large team, overseeing a grocery area, and making employment decisions such as hiring and disciplinary actions. A Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University is preferred. Experience in managing a large team (50+ associates), financial accountability, and operational management in a retail environment are highly desirable.
