Position Overview

The Head of Marketing is responsible for leading and managing Geoshield USA's marketing team, working directly with the Visionary to set company-wide marketing objectives, and overseeing the execution of strategies to drive brand visibility, customer engagement, and sales growth. This role involves recommending innovative marketing strategies, coordinating all marketing assets, and ensuring seamless collaboration between the Digital Lead, Affiliate/Partner Relations, and other team members to achieve business goals. The Head of Marketing balances strategic planning with hands-on oversight to align marketing efforts with Geoshield USA's vision.

Key Objectives
  • Develop and execute a cohesive marketing strategy in alignment with company-wide objectives set with the Visionary.
  • Lead the marketing team, including the Digital Lead and Affiliate/Partner Relations, to achieve measurable results.
  • Recommend innovative marketing strategies to stay ahead of industry trends and competitors.
  • Coordinate all marketing assets to ensure consistency and alignment with brand standards.
  • Drive customer acquisition and retention through integrated marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy Development

  • Work directly with the Visionary to develop and recommend comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with Geoshield USA's company-wide objectives.
  • Identify target audiences, market opportunities, and competitive positioning to guide campaign development.
  • Set short- and long-term marketing goals in collaboration with the Visionary and Integrator.

Team Leadership and Management

  • Lead and manage the marketing team, including the Digital Lead, Affiliate/Partner Relations, and Academy Lead, providing direction, mentorship, and performance feedback.
  • Set clear objectives and priorities for team members to ensure alignment with marketing goals.
  • Foster a collaborative, creative, and data-driven culture within the marketing team.

Campaign Oversight and Execution

  • Oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns across digital, affiliate, and educational channels.
  • Approve content calendars, campaign assets, and promotional materials created by the Digital Lead and Affiliate/Partner Relations.
  • Ensure campaigns are executed on time, within budget, and in alignment with brand standards.

Coordination of Marketing Assets

  • Coordinate all marketing assets, including social media posts, email campaigns, blogs, videos, and affiliate materials, to maintain a unified brand voice.
  • Work with the Digital Lead to ensure high-quality content production and optimization for SEO and user experience.
  • Collaborate with Affiliate/Partner Relations to provide affiliates with effective promotional tools and track performance.

Analytics and Performance Tracking

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as website traffic, conversion rates, affiliate-driven revenue, and campaign ROI.
  • Review monthly reports from the Digital Lead and Affiliate/Partner Relations to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide strategic recommendations based on data insights to optimize marketing initiatives.

Budget Management

  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across campaigns, content production, and affiliate programs.
  • Approve expenditures and negotiate contracts with external vendors (e.g., agencies, platforms) to maximize ROI.
  • Track spending to ensure compliance with budgetary constraints.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with other department heads (e.g., Customer Relations, Operations) to align marketing efforts with company-wide objectives.
  • Represent the marketing team in strategic discussions with the Visionary and Integrator.
  • Coordinate with external partners, such as event organizers or media outlets, to enhance brand exposure.
Deliverables
  • Quarterly marketing strategy plans with clear objectives, timelines, and KPIs, developed in collaboration with the Visionary.
  • Weekly performance reports summarizing campaign results, digital metrics, affiliate performance, and strategic recommendations.
  • Approved content calendars and campaign assets for digital and affiliate initiatives, as needed.
  • Coordinated marketing assets ensuring 100% alignment with brand standards.
  • Annual marketing budget with detailed allocation and expenditure tracking.
  • Lead quality and meaningful weekly Level 10 meetings with the Marketing team.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • 3-8 years of experience in marketing, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience overseeing diverse marketing functions.
  • Proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and marketing platforms to track performance.
  • Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and organizational skills.
Performance Metrics
  • Demonstrable increase in brand visibility and customer engagement within 6 months through effective marketing strategies.
  • Demonstrable improvement in campaign performance, conversion rates, and revenue driven by marketing initiatives within 6 months.
  • Positive feedback from the Visionary and team members on leadership, collaboration, and strategic alignment.
  • 100% on-time delivery of marketing strategy plans, performance reports, and budget tracking. Work Environment
  • On-site role based at Geoshield USA's office in Baton Rouge, LA.
  • Close collaboration with the Visionary, Digital Lead, Affiliate/Partner Relations, Academy Lead, and other department heads.
  • Fast-paced environment requiring strategic vision, leadership, and adaptability.
Timeline
  • Initial Marketing Strategy Plan: Within 4 weeks of onboarding.
  • First Performance Review: 3 months after start date.
