As our Director of HR, you'll lead all aspects of HR strategy, operations, and compliance. You'll manage a small team, serve as a backup for payroll, and shape our people strategy to align with company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the HR team (Payroll Specialist & Talent Specialist)
• Oversee benefits, compensation, and payroll (including serving as backup)
• Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance coaching
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and maintain HR policies
• Drive HR analytics, strategic workforce planning, and change management
• Manage HR technology systems and vendors
• Support workplace safety and risk management programs

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field
• 7+ years in HR, including 3+ in leadership
• Deep knowledge of HR laws & compliance
• Strong skills in benefits, comp, and employee relations
• Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking
• HRIS and payroll system experience
• Must be able to work onsite in Baton Rouge at least 2-3 days/week
