We are immediately hiring a Service Team Leader in our Service Center in Baton Rouge, LA — a role that will help us to power progress for our customers.

What you will do:

  • You will be based in our Baton Rouge, LA service center, reporting to the Service Center Manager. You should have experience managing a team of 10+ technical employees, providing functional and technical support, and coordinating activities within the region.
  • Manage a diverse team of multi-skilled technicians, ensuring safety practices and quality standards are met.
  • Ensure facilities and work areas are safe, clean, and operational; handle purchase orders for parts and service orders.
  • Provide effective support to customers and the service center team, scheduling and coordinating deployment of fleet and staff for daily activities and projects.
  • Maintain electronic daily timesheets, ensure adherence to business practices and cost controls, and coordinate fleet maintenance and availability.
  • Assist with equipment allocation, stakeholder coordination, and provide reporting and analysis for the Service Center Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures; be prepared to travel up to 10% annually and be on call as needed.

We're looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • Associate's degree or relevant experience, preferably in power generation or HVAC industry
  • Proficiency in MS Office, experience with ERP systems, Salesforce, M3
  • Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, customer service, and leadership skills
  • Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and adaptability to changing priorities
  • Management experience in a diverse and technical environment
