District Overview
TIC Power (TICP), a subsidiary of Kiewit Corporation, provides direct-hire construction services for power generation projects across North America, specializing in cogeneration, geothermal, waste-to-energy, and other resource facilities.

Location
This position is located in Mississippi.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead environmental compliance and permitting efforts for construction operations.
  2. Identify, assess, and mitigate environmental risks.
  3. Update environmental management plans.
  4. Perform field inspections and monitoring (water quality, underwater noise, etc.).
  5. Protect wetlands and sensitive environmental areas before construction begins.
  6. Maintain project data tracking.
  7. Monitor and communicate environmental costs.
  8. Develop and deliver environmental training for staff.
  9. Serve as a technical advisor on environmental issues.
  10. Coordinate with crews regarding work locations, materials, and invoices.
  11. Interpret and apply environmental specifications and drawings.
  12. Prepare reports and communicate environmental risks to management.
  13. Attend field visits with clients and regulatory agencies.
  14. Liaise with clients about design, schedule, and compliance issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental health, engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience managing environmental compliance in large-scale construction, preferably EPC projects.
  • Qualified Environmental Professional designation is preferred.
  • Knowledge of provincial and federal environmental legislation.
  • Motivated, proactive, and committed to excellence.
  • Strong work ethic, ethics, and integrity.
  • Passion for safety and risk mitigation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Organized with attention to detail.
