Position Overview
The Senior Audit Associate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial statements for our clients. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can lead audit engagements, mentor junior staff, and communicate effectively with clients to address their needs and concerns.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion
- Review and finalize audit reports and financial statements
- Supervise and mentor junior audit staff
- Conduct risk assessments and develop audit plans
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding audit findings and recommendations
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting standards
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA certification preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting
- Strong knowledge of audit procedures and standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
