Job Details

Project Scope: Our client was established as a means of recognizing cost savings through the consolidation of State IT assets and resources. The creation of our client's consolidated a wide variety of existing hardware platforms, operating systems, database management systems, networks, third party software, and custom applications.

Our client leads the State's technology procurement process in order to standardize technology over the entire organization, seek efficiencies of operations, maintenance, and scalability of new products introduced to the client's suite of services which can eventually be offered to all in-scope agencies.

Roles/Responsibilities:

• Design and manage data systems, coordinate various data sources, collect descriptive facts for existing data and document data systems provided by the State or created as part of this project
• Interpret system development life cycles, project management approaches and requirements, design and testing techniques
• Data modeling and design, including software development and database administration

Mandatory Skills:

• Bachelor's degree
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills, analytical skills, and familiarity with a range of computer software (including but not limited to Microsoft Office)
• Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with education and/or governmental institutions
• Application of specialized skills within a government agency environment
• Experience in data technologies like Qualtrics
• Strong Excel skills required, including data modeling and ad hoc analysis
• Skilled in project design and management
• Experience and interest in data storytelling, especially for external audiences
