Position Purpose

The Account Executive develops relationships and sales strategies to secure new SMB sales opportunities, expand market share, and promote strategic customer and partner relationships through value-driven solution sales. This role involves persuading clients, sharing industry best practices, and mentoring less experienced sales professionals.

Essential Functions

  • Generate leads and drive revenue by selling defi products and services within assigned territories or accounts.
  • Develop and execute strategies and account plans to identify, qualify, and secure new clients to meet sales targets.
  • Manage the sales process effectively, including prospect qualification, needs assessment, presentation, and closing.
  • Develop and implement selling strategies for assigned accounts and interface regularly with executive levels.
  • Leverage contacts to expand account coverage and create demand.
  • Create action plans to influence client decisions and secure funding for initiatives.
  • Propose new value-added solutions and demonstrate their impact to clients.
  • Build industry networks to stay current on trends and articulate defi's value accordingly.
  • Position defi as a superior solution compared to competitors.
  • Address objections early and build consensus on solutions.
  • Build long-term relationships based on mutual value and trust.
  • Manage client expectations and maintain accurate sales forecasts.
  • Share best practices with the sales team.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proven success in managing and selling to enterprise accounts.
  • Track record of meeting sales targets.
  • At least 5 years of solution sales experience in enterprise software.
  • Strong negotiation skills and understanding of asset management and revenue billing.
  • Industry experience in auto or mortgage loan servicing.

  • Ability to articulate value and ROI to clients.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
