Supreme Rice is seeking a Director of Human Resources to lead the HR team, manage benefits programs, and oversee policies and procedures to ensure compliance and support the company's mission and talent strategy.
Main Duties:
Manage self-funded health insurance and oversee employee benefits administration.
Deliver management training programs.
Develop and update company policies, pay structures, and employee handbook.
Manage performance review processes.
Handle employee relations and communication between the company and employees.
Manage Worker's Compensation claims in coordination with Compliance and Safety teams.
Analyze HR data and report on HR metrics.
Perform other duties as the company evolves.
Qualifications:
Experience with self-funded health insurance programs preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong leadership, managerial, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Effective project and time management skills.
Proven problem-solving expertise.
Good presentation skills and comfort speaking to groups.
Solid knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Spanish-speaking ability is a plus.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master's preferred.
At least eight years of HR management experience required.
