Description:

We are seeking a proven Director/Leader in sales management and sales training to build and oversee a Region for our team. This opportunity offers significant potential for personal and financial growth.

Role Overview: As the Director/Sales Leader, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our industrial sales team. Your responsibilities include managing sales processes, creating budgets, developing sales plans, and conducting joint calls with the sales team to foster growth and meet targets. You will also oversee operations across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to penetrate existing markets and explore new opportunities within the industrial sector.
  2. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the industrial sales team to achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations.
  3. Sales Process Management: Oversee the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness at every stage.
  4. Budget Creation: Collaborate with senior management to create annual sales budgets and monitor performance against targets.
  5. Sales Planning: Develop comprehensive sales plans aligned with company objectives, incorporating market analysis, competitor insights, and customer needs.
  6. Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with key customers and partners, providing exceptional service and support to drive satisfaction and loyalty.
  7. Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of our product portfolio, industry trends, and technological advancements to position our solutions effectively.
  8. Training and Development: Provide ongoing training to enhance the sales team's product knowledge, sales skills, and customer engagement abilities.
  9. Performance Evaluation: Conduct regular performance reviews and give constructive feedback, identifying areas for improvement and growth.
  10. Operations: Manage local managers across multiple locations to ensure operational efficiency in Inside Sales, Warehouse, and Pipe Fabrication.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven success in technical sales, especially with industrial products such as valves, instrumentation, filtration, and specialty pipe.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing sales teams and driving performance.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Ability to manage and exceed P&L goals, including sales, profit margins, territory, and customer development.
  • Use your industrial marketplace knowledge, sales expertise, and operational skills to lead multiple districts strategically and tactically.
