ARCOSA Specialty Materials is searching for an Industrial Engineering Intern for our Baton Rouge, LA facility. As an Industrial Engineering Intern, you will help design, implement, and optimize processes, systems, services, or scientific applications using broad engineering concepts and research techniques. Additionally, you will experience other areas of the manufacturing process; including safety practices and environmental stewardship, product development, thermal processing, maintenance systems, and quality control. Arcosa Specialty Material is a leading producer and distributor of industrial minerals, including expanded shale and clay, gypsum, limestone, and other miscellaneous minerals. Arcosa Specialty Materials operates manufacturing facilities across the U.S. The Baton Rouge, LA facility is a gypsum plaster plant with an annual production capacity of 185,000 tons of industrial and flooring plaster products.
