As the Head of Operational Excellence for Qemetica Silicas, you will drive the implementation of best practices throughout the organization to support operational performance excellence and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Build capability by defining and implementing a standardized set of tools to manage manufacturing execution and implementation of lean principles.
• Assure the site adopts & embeds the defined standards and best practices as defined, developed and established within the framework.
• Drive Continuous Improvement and Productivity Savings Projects.
• Identify, charter and lead improvement projects; deliver results; and ensure improvements are sustained post implementation.
• Quantify and monetize the impact of improvements.
• Use problem-solving skills, verbal and written communication skills; ability to build relationships to engage and influence individuals at all levels of an organization.
• Provide tactical and strategic leadership to train and develop others.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management or related field.
• 10+ years' experience in an Operations or Continuous Improvement role.
• Strong experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment leading Kaizen and Continuous Improvement projects.
