Job Summary:

The Plumbing Engineer/Designer serves to design plumbing systems for buildings such as high-rise buildings, Caribbean resort projects, K-12 schools, retail/mixed-use spaces, and commercial spaces.

General Duties:

  • Design potable water, sanitary waste, vent, storm, and natural gas systems for various facility types
  • Produce plumbing design drawings using Revit software
  • Perform field investigations to assess existing conditions and gather project data
  • Ensure quality control, scheduling, and programming of plumbing design deliverables
  • Coordinate and communicate progress with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) teams
Skills:
  • Proficiency in Revit
  • Demonstrated project coordination and facilitation experience
  • Solid understanding of domestic water systems, sanitary sewer, storm drainage, and gas piping
  • Experience with fixture selection, water heater sizing, booster pump design, and high-rise plumbing system design
  • Familiar with plumbing codes (IPC), energy efficiency standards, and industry best practices
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for design and specification
  • Experience with resort and hospitality plumbing design, including water reuse and desalination systems a plus
Qualifications:
  • You have 3+ years of experience in plumbing design and construction
