The Epic RCM and Patient Access Application Director leads strategic execution, oversight, enhancement, implementation and optimization for all revenue cycle area application components (Patient Access, Authorizations, HIM, Professional Billing, & Hospital Billing). This Director will be responsible for providing day-to-day direction and support to staff, liaising between Leadership, IS and hospital staff, developing plans, gathering project scope requirements, designing and creating technical documents, implementation planning, information management, coordinating with vendors, and supporting department and/or staff training programs to meet the goals, objectives, and needs of the organization. The Director is responsible for translating the mission, strategic goals, and program priorities of the organization into department operations. The Director will have oversight over billing, patient, and HIM application managers and staff. The Director must have a passion for change and identifying better ways to do things. The Director must be an effective communicator and independent worker who will be an industry leader in changing how healthcare technology is configured, delivered, and supported.
