Description
JOB PURPOSE OR MISSION: This role joins the I.S. Revenue team as a member of our automation (RPA) initiative. Work with end users and our team to analyze processes and develop solutions through RPA. Provides RPA and software support for multiple business units throughout the healthcare system. Analyze the repetitive processes in various departments and automate them to make them more efficient and maintain them. Manages and sets priorities for maintaining, upgrading and efficiently using applicable software systems.

JOB FUNCTIONS
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS include, but are not limited to:
1. Analyzes and evaluates present and proposed business procedures or problems to define data processing needs within assigned functional area(s).
2. Manages ongoing support and maintenance for present and proposed business procedures.
PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:
•Works as a team member with other technical staff to ensure connectivity and compatibility between systems.
•Conducts technical research on system upgrades to maintain up to date software versions •Work closely with clients and the business to identify and analyze core business processes and workflows
•Documentation of process and workflows
•Development of clear and detailed process maps and business requirements
•Identifying issues and risks with the projects
2. Provides application support to ensure functionality in assigned area(s).
PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:
•Installs software version upgrades and/or service packs as needed within specified timeframes, including testing, debugging and conversions.
•Prepares and maintains appropriate documentation, as required.
•Functions as lead for updating and maintaining applications as assigned.
•Researches and resolves problems, as necessary to maintain functionality of the applications.
•Develops and/or produces complex reports as needed (daily, weekly, month-end, etc.).
•Strategically plans system downtime to minimize any disruptions to the normal course of business.
3. Serves as resource for application users within assigned functional area(s).
PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:
•Serves as primary liaison between software vendor(s) and internal customers and keeps all abreast of program updates, added features, problems error resolution, etc.
•Designs, develops and implements training programs for internal customers for software utilization and customized report development as needed.
•Constantly increases knowledge of applicable software applications and/or functional area(s), through classes, seminars, and all available training opportunities.
•Actively participates in departmental meetings, to gain knowledge and apply such knowledge to more effectively and efficiently use software applications.
4. Performs all other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
2 - 5 years' experience in Process Automation role.
2 - 5 years in related field
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
BS/BA in Information Technology strongly preferred.
SPECIAL SKILL, LICENSE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
Expert knowledge of applicable software applications and assigned functional area(s), including configuration and connectivity. Knowledge and experience of Process automation tools. Strong skills in Process Mapping and Business Process Reengineering. Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to extensively analyze business processes and workflows. Revenue and claims knowledge.
HIPAA REQUIREMENTS:
Maintains knowledge of and adherence to all applicable HIPAA regulations appropriate to Job Position including but not limited to: medical record without limitation, patient demographics, lab results, patient financial and 3rd party billing information, patients related complaints, information related to patient location.
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:
Maintains knowledge of and adherence to all applicable safety practices appropriate to Job Position including but not limited to- incident reporting, exposure control plan, hand washing for all age groups.
