ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Wet lab Technician will be responsible to perform various tests on different matrix in

accordance with written standard operating procedures.

 Experience with wet lab test like total suspended solids, total dissolved solids, Ph, Flash

point, conductivity, alkalinity, turbidity, Oil & grease, , Phenol, Cyanide, Ammonia,

Phosphorus, BOD, COD, TOC etc

 Be able to understand and follow EPA and other environmental protocols and procedures.

 Perform all work within established QA/QC in accordance with method requirement and

within specified turnaround times.

 Maintain records with complete traceability.

 Assure that the housekeeping in work areas is adequate to prevent contamination of

samples and to minimize fire and safety hazards.

 Ensure that all work is generated in compliance with A & B QA Plan.

 Provide the QA Manager, Laboratory Manager, Supervisor and/or Technical Manager

with immediate notification of quality problems.

 Housekeeping, cleaning glassware and maintain the lab work area.
