Job Title: Customer Service Representative
M-Th: 8:30A-5:00P, F: 8:30A - 4:00P (This is a 100% in-office role)
Job Description:
We seek a motivated, self-starter to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As an integral part of our customer service team, you will work with the account managers and sales department to process customer orders, schedule production, and handle customer needs. The customer service representative will also act as a liaison between departments. You will be responsible for processing purchase orders and managing the customer service email inbox where most orders are received. This is a customer-facing position. Strong communication (verbal and written) is fundamental. All listed functions are conducted for our Baton Rouge, LA, and Seattle, WA locations. The target is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries, and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Duties & Responsibilities:
•Order Processing
•Assist in daily monitoring of accounts on credit hold - reconciling with our shipping and production department.
•Answering and transferring phones (assisting the caller when applicable)
•Provide follow-up to account inquiries seeking shipping details, tracking information, ship date, and any requested document(s) as delegated by Account Representatives
•Log complaints in our CRM platform for reporting
o Process Credit Request Forms
•Creates and edits departmental work instructions (SOPs)
•All other tasks are handed down at the discretion of the CSM and sales leadership team.

Requirements:
Qualifications:
•Customer Service Experience (3+ years)
•Excellent communication skills that include:
o Email / written- answering and composing message with proper spelling, punctuation and structure
o Phone / verbal - ability to confidently speak to customers, counterparts, managers and other team members both in person and on the phone
•Team Player, Ability to work closely in a team setting
•Self-starter that takes command and handle their role and other items as needed
•Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint,
•Experience in using ERP systems to conduct day-to-day tasks - Candidate is required to learn our system
•Excellent organizational and time-management skills
