Visiting Professor

The Visiting Professor of Educational Assessment and Management will engage in 1:) research on assessment practices and use of assessment analytics in PK12 and higher education setting and 2:) engage in research on cheating in the age of generative AI such as ChatGPT in the United States. This research will investigate the types of assessments that are used, how they are used and how analytics are used to inform teaching and management. And, investigate the causes of cheating and techniques for detecting it in the modern age. As a result of this research, academic papers will be produced and presentations will be submitted to academic conferences. Additionally, opportunities to secure funding to support research in these areas will be investigated and pursued.

50% Conduct studies on the use of assessment and assessment analytics in PK12 and higher education settings in the United States. Produce research articles, presentations and develop grant proposes on this topic.

50% Conduct studies of cheating on assessments during the age of generative AI such as ChatGPT.
