Job Description:

Dr. Spry will aid researchers at LSU looking to deploy their Dr. Spry will assist researchers with considering commercial deployment aspects of their projects. This would include process development, equipment design, economic evaluations and technical feasibility studies. An emphasis on inherent safety and sustainability will be incorporated into the initial stages of process design. Including these activities into the R&D pipeline can increase the probability of commercial deployment for technology being developed at LSU, as well as enhance the competitiveness of research proposals submitted to outside agencies (DOE, NSF, etc). Dr. Spry's hours will not be dictated or specified. The basic terms are as follows:

Roles and responsibilities

•Dr. Spry will meet with professors/researchers to discuss their work.

•Dr. Spry will make suggestions related to process development, design, and technical feasibility.
