**Grocery Shopper - Baton Rouge, LA**

Baton Rouge, LA / Waitr Operations-Field Ops / Full-Time/Hourly Founded in 2013 and based in Lafayette, Louisiana, Waitr operates an online ordering technology platform, providing delivery, carryout and dine-in options. Waitr, along with Bite Squad and Delivery Dudes, connect local restaurants and grocery stores to diners in underserved U.S. markets. Together, they are a convenient way to discover, order and receive great food and other products from local restaurants, national chains and grocery stores. As of September 30, 2021, Waitr, Bite Squad and Delivery Dudes operate in small and medium sized markets in the United States in over 1,000 cities.

**Job Summary** As the Grocery Market Coordinator youll drive daily operations and revenue growth by, effectively communicating with customers, shopping for grocery orders, collaborating with our grocery partners, canvassing grocery collateral, driving community initiatives while working with customer support, dispatch and leadership teams everyday! The Grocery Market Coordinator reports directly to the Grocery Manager. + Works 32+ hours a week, including weekends

+ Willing to travel within the market

+ Work cross-functionally with IT, customer service, and operations

+ Communicate effectively with grocery customers to ensure a positive experience

+ Shop for grocery orders using provided shopping procedures

+ Update commonly changing grocery prices

+ Canvas marketing supplies to local businesses and residential areas

+ Create seasonal menus

+ Come up with personalized marketing ideas for your local grocery partners

+ Deliver grocery orders to customers when IC drivers are unavailable

**Required Education and Experience**

+ High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Associate's degree (A.A) or Bachelors degree preferred

+ Training in receiving and delivering feedback from/to reports, teams, and managers

**Preferred Education and Experience**

+ Bachelors degree.

+ Grocery experience

+ Customer service experienceKnowledge of how to use Google Drive

+ Knowledge of how to use an iPad/Tablet

**Additional Eligibility Qualifications**

+ Must have a working cell phone (smartphone required)

+ Valid drivers license and Acceptable driving record
