**Position Summary:**

Acuren Inspection has an immediate need for certified Rope Access Painters local to the Baton Rouge, LA area for full-time positions to start as soon as possible.

The Mechanical Rope Access certified Technician is responsible for carrying out duties and responsibilities in a safe and timely manner as assigned by the Rope Access Technician Supervisor.

**Responsibilities:**

* Have a comprehensive knowledge of advanced rescue techniques

* Be able to demonstrate all the skills and knowledge required of level I, II, or III

* Assist other technicians as required

* Perform specific job functions as they relate to work orders

* Ensure operational safety of all equipment

**Requirements:**

* IRATA/SPRAT Level I, II, or III Certification required including proficiency in theoretical knowledge, equipment and rigging, maneuvers, climbing and rescue/hauling

* Required certification levels for specific projects

* Must possess a High School Diploma or GED.

* Must possess an authentic SPRAT and/or IRATA Level I, II, or III certificate, ID, & logbook.

* Must possess a valid Driver License or ID.

* Must possess a update TWIC Card

* Must possess a Social Security Card

* Preferred technician with a combined knowledge & experience reading blueprints, adjusting, assembling, fabricating, & bolting components together.

* Preferred individual with the NCCER Painter certification (Trained Individual).
