Inventory Control Clerk - Supply Chain Management - Full-Time

Description:

Performs cycle counts; restocks and performs other routine inventory control procedures. Prepares inventory and utilization reports. Maintains adequate level of supplies and provides support for special purchases. Required to work some weekend and evening shifts. Performs other duties assigned by department management according to policies and procedures and the mission of Woman's Hospital.

Requirements:

  • Must have high school education or equivalent.
  • Previous inventory control experience preferred, but not necessary. On-the-job training provided.


Responsibilities:

  • Utilizes supply chain management system to perform routine functions to maintain supply levels in the various areas.
  • Sorts, labels and stocks supplies. Maintains cleanliness of supply rooms according to Joint Commission standards.
  • Receives, inspects and accepts/rejects all supplies and equipment delivered to the inventory control department.
  • Checks patient issue records to make sure all working records are closed in appropriate inventory. Prepares accurate documentation concerning receipts, issues and distribution of supplies and equipment.
  • Maintains adequate levels of patient's supplies by ordering on a routine basis. Audits and receives orders.


Schedule:

Full-Time; Monday - Friday

8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay Range:

$12.27 - $17.33
