**Description**

**Summary**

Provide Quality Assurance audits on merchandise warehoused in the distribution center to reduce product loss or damage.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities** include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

- Use Business Intelligence and Triceps reporting to audit pick/reserve slots, forklift letdowns, flag pallets, rotation errors and voice shorts.

- Ensure employees adhere to the standard operating procedures.

- Process warehouse damages

- Monitor aisles for stray cases, hanging cases in reserve, and unsanitary conditions

- Communicate vendor related issues to the Special Projects Operations Team.

- Inspect pallets for hidden damages and record all damaged merchandise.

- Verify product inquiries and discrepancies.

- Identify and communicate slotting opportunities to improve quality of service and productivity and to reduce inventory shrink.

- Ensure that repaired and repackaged cases are selected.

- Responsible for delegating work assignments to and ensuring performance of warehousemen and scanning clerks. Provide verbal feedback and coaching as needed.

- Conduct observations as required.

- Comply with all safety and sanitation rules, regulations, and guidelines; make on the spot correction of unsafe acts and maintain an inspection ready distribution center.

**Education and/or Experience**

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

**Other Skills and Abilities:**

Must be able to lift and move objects weighing 60 pounds regularly. You must be able to work open-ended shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
